Plan of Salvation
God loves you. He created each and every one of us for a specific purpose - to share in His love and offers us the promise of eternal life with Him.
Sin, also known as our willful decision to disobey GOD and to pursue our own wants and desires, separates us from GOD and His purpose and promise for us.
Good works, religious duties, and good intentions cannot make us right with GOD, nor do they dismiss the consequences of our sins.
In His great love for us, GOD provided a substitute - someone who would endure the consequences of sin on our behalf. He provided His Son Jesus Christ. Jesus suffered and died on the cross. He then rose from the dead, demonstrating His victory over sin and death. GOD offers each of us that same victory and the promise of life forever with Him.
God's purpose and promise to you is realized when you confess your sins, turn away from it and trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. "For Christ also died for sins once for all, the just for the unjust, in order that He might bring us to God...." {1 Peter 3:18}
